I recently moved and now I can literally drive down the street and hit beach in about 5 minutes! I have been taking full advantage of this and started to take sunset walks on the beach a couple of times a week. My last swatch of Revlon’s Wintermint reminded me so much of the sea I used it as the base for this blue beach manicure.
The star studs paired with the sea shells turn them into star “fish”! I think the silver sea shells and “star fish” studs look great over a blue-green gradient, with glitter of course! What do you think?
In this last picture I put on a heavy coat of Seche Vite topcoat to keep the studs in place. And it worked really well! Even with a bit of pulling on my clothing on the edges of the stars, they didn’t budge. These are so fun and totally appropriate for summer! The last time I got my nails done was for Vegas in April and before that, let’s just say it’s been awhile. I’d love to find time to get creative with the polish but it’s just not possible with little #1 or 2. Oh well. There’s always those lovely and much-needed visits to the salon once in a blue moon. For now, I’m content to admire all of the pretty creativity I see online.
