Drippy black drips – and they glow in the dark! I can’t remember who I saw do this, but I thought I would try out horizontal drips, since I’ve done regular drips before. I really like the effect.
As a base I used the glitter “Pumpkin Spice” from Sinful Colors. This was a fun glitter topper from their Halloween 2014 collection, which I did a full review on awhile back. It is a really pretty mix of tiny bronze/copper hex glitters and burnt red medium hex glitters in a clear base.
Then using a dotting tool I did one thick coat of Sinful Colors Black on Black to create the tarry drips. Using the same dotting tool I coated the drips 3 times in the “Glow in the Dark” topcoat. It still didn’t glow as much as I would have liked, but I think it still was a lot of fun. It made me want to find a bunch of glow in the dark stars and sky stickers and put them on my ceiling like when I was a kid. Did anyone else do that?
